The SET Gameis a family game of visual perception. It is a card game that challenges its players to discover a connection hidden in a series of cards. The deck consists of 12 cards laid out in a pattern of 3 down and 4 across. From this format players attempt to create 6 different sets. The game has a distinct rule in defining what a set is. A set is made up of 3 cards that have all the same features or have all different features. Features are separated into 4 categories. These categories are: number, shading, color and symbol.

A set can consist of either 1, 2 or 3 symbols. These symbols can be oval, diamond or squiggle. Besides the shape and number of the symbols, they are also characterized by color and shading. Colors can be either red, green or purple. There are 3 shadings which are solid, striped and outlined. From these features the player must determine how each card differs or are similar.

For example: 3 green cards consisting of 1 solid squiggle, 2 stripped diamonds, and 3 outlined ovals. This would be considered a set because it satisfies the rules. All three symbols are different, their shading is different, the number of symbols are different but all three are the same color.

SET is an award winning card game that has become a classic. It can be played by one or more players. A new game will contain the rules and instructions you need to play and it will have 81 cards.
