How to Play Scrabble Slam

This Slam version of Scrabble is a great addition to the Hasbro line of fun word games. Similar to the original Scrabble, this game requires the player to create words using random letters they are given. Slam, due to the words being only four letters, allows the players to have a faster paced game. Instead of playing with multiple pieces on a basic game board, this game consists of a deck of 55 cards with an individual letter on both sides.

How to Play Scrabble Slam

The game begins with a player spelling out a four letter word and the remainder of the deck is handed out. The amount of cards per players varies due to the number of players. While the game may be designed for up to 4 players as many as 6 can be included. Each player then uses a card in their hand to change the starting word. They can place their letter on any part of the original word. Players battle against each other to quickly slam their card on the table to create a new 4 letter word. The player with the least amount of cards remaining wins.
