Parcheesi Board Game Play Fun Games

What about the Parcheesi Board Game for family game night? Do you know this board game rules, how many people can play?

The Parcheesi Board Game is recommended for 2 to 4 players, ages 8+. The equipment you get when you buy this Royal Edition board game includes:

  • The Game Board
  • Two Dice
  • Dice Cups
  • 16 Colored Game Pawns

The object of this fun family game is to be the first player to have all your pawns in the corresponding colored spaces in the Home Space (in the center) of the board.

Object of the Game: To be the first player that has all of their pawn pieces into the corresponding colored spaces in the Home (center space) area on the board.

The game rules and play are as follows:

Players roll the dice to see who has the first turn.

Each player chooses their pawn colors and places them on their colored circles in the corner of the board.

The first player rolls the dice.

Players must roll a five to be able to move out into game play on the board.

Game pieces can only be moved to purple and light blue spaces on the board.

The next player rolls the dice in the same way as the first player.

Play is continued clockwise around the board.

A player’s pawn piece is sent back to their starting circle if another player lands on the same space it is occupying.

Sending another players pawn back to its starting square allows the person who landed on them an additional 20 space move.

To get a pawn piece into the correct colored Home on the board a player must complete an entire trip around the board.

Pawns can only move into their Home space if the exact numbers needed to move are rolled on the dice.
